Expressions of Interest

The Australian Curriculum Studies Association (ACSA) invites you to participate by presenting a workshop or a paper at the conference. Papers and workshops will have a one hour time slot.

In submitting your expression of interest please indicate which of the focus areas below you are addressing.

The call to action of the ‘Through Growth to Achievement’ education review highlights the urgent need for educators and education systems to ensure that Australian students receive a world-class education that empowers, engages and enriches. This exciting conference will explore the key priorities identified that challenge a sustained, long-term and coordinated improvement effort based on shared ambition, action and accountability.

Your presentation will need to showcase best practice in addressing one or more of the following:

  • Cultivating an adaptive, innovative and continuously improving curriculum that empowers students to take the reins of their own learning

  • Recognising new pedagogical approaches that engage every learner to be a creative, connected and engaged learner in a rapidly changing world

  • Exploring the use of data and research to enrich learning and feedback to ensure all students achieve at least one year’s growth, every year.

The rooms at this venue are immersed in the zoo space surrounded by fascinating flora and fauna. So as a presenter your main challenge will be keeping delegates attention in this stimulating environment.
